Architecture
Terraces, colonnades and a single line of horizon.
Atelier Moreau Lund drew The Aurelia as a series of stepped stone terraces, each shaded by the one above. The plan turns slightly away from the city so that every living room faces the bay and the last hour of light.
A colonnade of board-formed concrete runs the length of the ground floor, holding the garden on one side and the water on the other. Nothing on the facade is applied: shade comes from depth, privacy from planting.
