Architecture

A courtyard, held between the garden and the beach.

Solara is organised around a single courtyard. Every apartment is reached from the garden and opens on its other side to the sea, so that morning and evening light pass straight through each home.

Walls are thick lime render over block, cool to the touch; floors are terracotta and oak. The only colour comes from the planting.

Undyed linen falling in loose folds onto a pale oak floor.
